KWLEN Training Conference

The Kentucky Women's Law Enforcement Network (KWLEN) will hold its annual training conference November 12-14 in Louisville.  The event will be hosted by the Louisville Metro Police Department.  The conference theme is "Living the Dream:  A Day in the Life..."  It will offer training in a variety of law enforcement subjects.

An important feature will be the awards ceremony honoring organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to criminal justice.

A service project is always part of the KWLEN Conference.  This year's efforts will benefit the Home of the Innocents serving children in crisis.

For additional information, contact KWLEN President Jennifer Colemire at kwlen99@gmail.com.

Congratulations to Chief Deborah Faulkner

Congratulations to Deborah Faulkner on her recent appointment as Chief of Police in Franklin, Tennessee.  She was serving as Interim Chief at the time of her appointment.  She joined the Franklin Police Department in June, 2014.

Before going to Franklin, she served as Inspector General for Tennessee investigating fraud against TennCare, the state's low income health care system.  Chief Faulkner retired from the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department where she moved up the ranks to Deputy Chief.
