Kentucky Women's Law Enforcement Network

The Kentucky Women's Law Enforcement Network (KWLEN) held the 15th Annual Training Conference November 12-14, 2014 in Louisville.  The keynote speaker was Chief Bernadette DiPino of the Sarasota, Florida Police Department.  A variety of workshops addressed both professional and personal issues.


The following officers were elected for the next year.
     President - Jennifer Colemire, Covington Police Department
     1st Vice President - Leighann Stroud, Madisonville Police Department
     2nd Vice President - Lindsey Hix, Homeland Security
     Secretary - Melissa Wartak, Bowling Green Police Department
     Treasurer - Lisa Rudzinski, Kentucky State Police
     Historian - Emily Leising, Ft. Thomas Police Department
     Chaplain - Donika Kay, Bowling Green Police Department
     Central Regional Representative -
          Ellasha Ferriell, Louisville Metro Police Department
     Eastern Regional Representative -
          Jennifer Sandlin, Kentucky State Police
     Northern Regional Representative -
          Tara Ruschell, Alexandria Police Department
     Western Regional Representative -
          Nicole Hatchett, Bowling Green Police Department


The 16th Annual Conference is being planned for November 11-13, 2015 in Frankfort.
